Noticing a trend between Apple’s iPhoto 09 [Geo-tagging, Satellite view, etc.) and Google Maps on the iPhone, it seems Apple and Google are consistently integrating themselves ever closer. Now that iPhoto has a Facebook ‘button’ we see another step of unification to a popular and useful site for sharing with people. (more…)

20 | March | 2008So along with this upgrade, I get widgets over in the side bar there (look to the right). It makes layouts easier and also adds ‘tags‘ into the functionality. Tags are cool, look at what is known as the ‘tag cloud’ in the sidebar. The bigger terms have more posts associated with them, so you can guess that ‘art’ is probably going to be 100s of times the size of any others by the time I get done tagging all my old posts. However, it’s late, I’m tired, and I have to deal with painters tomorrow.

The new design on dpstudiolab.com comes from many hashings and slashings of photoshop files. Influenced by Mac OS X, I’ve made it more OSeXy. (oh-es-ecks-e). The pun works if you say it.
Still, the design challenge is simple: Design a unique site that still uses the default template files, including image names, sizes, and position (in this case WordPress’s Kubrick template). I don’t know about rearranging the technical side of all the scripting, but you want a slick new design? Fahged abow et (Brooklyn accent spelling).
