After several possibly award-winning designs for my own site, I realized I was concentrating too much on the look and design of the site and not its contents. The fat has been trimmed now so that I can have a streamlined site. The goal has always been to keep the portfolio half and weblog half consistent. Now that I’ve played with WordPress a bit on the back end, I can get my work online, and then restructure the look as I see fit.

Actually, I’m quite content with this minor tweak I made to the header of the default theme. Simple, effective, and clean.
