Ironworks website that never was

21 | July | 2010

I finally found my files for a forge I worked for here in Missouri. Having worked as a metalsmith in their studios, I also took it upon myself to redesign the website…which was never launched. The site requirements were easy enough: make it better than the existing one, and for some reason I thought an expandable layout would work well. This was in 2005 and I was using (I think) a 1024×768 layout and .php for the first time.

Header graphics for each page on a website out of S. Korea.  An American Ex-Pat who ran a english tutoring course for Koreans.  Half the site in Korean, and half in English.  I had to design  the site and place both sets of content… The most I speak of any eastern language is counting to 10 in Japanese and say ‘hello’ in Chinese.

Designed for Netowrk Solutions Image Cafe software, these are designs that were selected either for the storefront of the product, actual custom designs (minus content) for clients, or general designs (Satellite and Tech Planet) for the library of templates included with the package. I’ve left out the URLs because this was a user content management software (so who knows what the sites look like currently).
