This was a template design that made into Network Solutions’ Image Cafe Content Management System for a time. Sadly, I don’t think it’s available any longer. This was recoded from an existing site that still uses the template. (Thank God for ‘View Source’ and develop’s consoles). Again, like other templates, this design had choices of top, left, or right oriented navigation controls. The background, navigation menu/footer, content area, and even the series of boxes were color customizable by the user

23 | November | 2010For a painting project, a personal narrative, I’ve gone back to staples and tacks and a painting professor brought up a point about the use of tacks specifically. Since this was a painting class, and at the same time we are stretching canvases, the professor saw that I was using these copper tacks and alluded to their use in an older process of stretching canvas. Before the advent of staples, these copper tacks I use were used to hold the canvas on a stretcher bar.
